Prior to my graduate work, I received a Bachelor’s Degree from Barnard College/Columbia University. I received my Master’s Degree in social work (MSW) and Juris Doctor in law (JD) from Rutgers University. I completed the Violence against Women and Children certificate program in social work school. I worked as an attorney before having children and then pursued my passion for all things mental health related through social work. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health, public school, in-home and residential, before engaging in private practice work. I have extensive experience helping youth, adults and families navigate conflict and crisis and develop healthier relationships both in and outside of the home. I work collaboratively with parents and families to provide psycho-education that best supports their parenting efforts and fosters positive communication with children that leads to positive behavior.
